Stylist In Your Pocket

1. Introduction

1.1. Subscriptions Description: “Stylist in Your Pocket” (hereafter referred to as “the Subscriptions”) is a subscription-based service provided by Maria Personal Shopper & Stylist. The Subscriptions offers styling advice and consultations to existing clients via WhatsApp messages and/or short video calls (previously scheduled).

1.2. Exclusive to Existing Clients: The Subscription is only available to individuals who have previously engaged in our personal styling services. By subscribing, you confirm you have had at least one in-person or online styling session with Maria Personal Shopper prior to this agreement.

2. Subscription Plans

2.1. Monthly Subscription

  • Price: £25 per month.

  • The monthly subscription includes up to three style-related questions each month. You can use them all via WhatsApp—or swap any question for a 15-minute video call.

2.2. Seasonal Subscription (6 Months)

  • Price: £125 per six months.

  • Includes the same monthly benefits as the Monthly Subscription.

2.3. Upgrades, Downgrades, and Enrollment Periods

  • Seasonal Subscription Availability

    • The seasonal (6-month) subscription is only open for sign-up twice a year during open enrollment periods.

    • You may not subscribe to or upgrade to the biannual plan outside these designated enrollment windows.

  • Monthly Subscription

    • If you are on the monthly plan, you cannot upgrade to the biannual plan unless it is during one of the open enrollment periods.

    • You may continue with the monthly plan as usual, subject to the cancellation and renewal terms outlined in Sections 3 and 4.

  • Resubscribing After Unsubscribing

    • If you cancel or unsubscribe from any subscription (monthly or seasonal), you may not re-subscribe until the next open enrollment period.

  • Effective Date of Changes

    • Any approved change to your subscription (such as upgrading to a biannual plan during an open enrollment period) will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle unless otherwise stated by us in writing.

    • Downgrades, cancellations, or other plan adjustments will follow the standard rules in Sections 3 and 4, provided they align with the enrollment limitations described above.

 

3. Payment and Renewal

3.1. Payment Methods: Accepted payment methods may include credit card, or debit card. Specific options will be provided during the sign-up process.

3.2. Billing Cycle:

  • Monthly plans are billed every month on the same calendar day (or nearest date) that you initially subscribed.

  • Seasonal plans are billed every six months.

3.3. Automatic Renewal:

  • All subscription plans automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled according to our cancellation policy (see Section 4).

3.4. Late Payments: If a payment method is declined or payment is not received, we reserve the right to suspend access to the Subscription until all outstanding fees are settled.

 

4. Cancellation and Refunds

4.1. Cancellation

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us at hi@mariapersonalshopper.com or via WhatsApp on 07783 985823. 

  • Cancellation is effective at the end of the current billing cycle. You will retain access to the Subscriptions until that time.

4.2. Refunds

  • Monthly Subscriptions: No refunds or pro-rata refunds are granted for partial months.

  • Seasonal Subscriptions (Six months): No refunds. If you cancel before the end of your prepaid period, no pro-rata refunds will be issued.

 

5. Scope of the Subscription

5.1. Number of Questions

  • Each subscription provides you with up to three style-related questions per month via WhatsApp.

  • WhatsApp or Video Call: Each question can be asked via WhatsApp or used to schedule a fifteen (15) minute video call. In other words, a single video call is counted as one question.

5.2. What Counts as a Question

  • A question focuses on one specific item, outfit, or topic (e.g.,  “Does this top suit me?”, “What do I pair these pants with?”, or “Should I buy this jacket?”).

  • Follow-up questions that clarify or expand on the initial query may be allowed at our discretion but typically count as part of the same query only if directly related.

    • Initial Question: "Does this dress suit my body shape?"

    • Follow-Up: "Would it look better in a different colour?"

  • Multiple unrelated questions in one message count separately toward the monthly limit.

    • "Does this dress suit my body shape, and what accessories should I pair with it?" (Count as two questions)

    • "Can you suggest how to style these shoes, and also, where can I find a matching bag?" (Count as two questions)

5.3. Response Time

  • We respond to all queries within 24 hours, from 10 am to 18 pm, Monday through Saturday.

  • Queries received on Saturdays may be addressed the following Monday.

  • No responses will be provided on Sundays or public holidays.

5.4. Video Calls

  • Each video call lasts up to 15 minutes and counts as a single question from your monthly allowance.

  • Scheduling must be done in advance, subject to availability.

  • If you exceed the allotted time, we may count additional questions against your monthly limit or arrange another call.

5.5. Limitations

  • The Subscription is limited to general styling advice, outfit coordination, and shopping recommendations.

  • It does not include extensive wardrobe overhauls, personal shopping trips, or in-depth image consulting, which require separate agreements or face-to-face sessions.

  • Unused questions do not roll over to the following month.

  • If you reach your monthly limit, you can still contact me to explore whether an upgrade or one-off additional service is available, subject to our enrollment policies.

 

6. Privacy and Data Handling

6.1. Personal Information: We only collect and store necessary details to process payments and provide personalised styling advice. We adhere to all relevant data protection regulations.

6.2. WhatsApp Communications: By subscribing, you agree to communicate with us via WhatsApp, understanding that WhatsApp is a third-party platform. Please refer to WhatsApp’s privacy policy for details on how your data is handled by them.

6.3. Photo and Media Sharing: You may choose to share photos or other media for styling feedback. We will not share these materials with third parties without your explicit consent except as required by law.

 

7. Disclaimers

7.1. General Disclaimer: Our styling advice is based on professional opinion and personal experience. Individual results may vary, and we are not liable for any dissatisfaction or unintended outcomes resulting from the advice provided.

7.2. No Warranties: We make no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, regarding the Service’s operation or the information provided.

 

8. Modifications to the Terms

8.1. Updates: We reserve the right to amend or update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
8.2. Notification: We will notify subscribers via email or a prominent notice on our website if significant changes occur. Continued use of the Service after such notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

  • The Personal Shopping Experience is designed to assist you in finding your unique style by offering guidance, advice, and assistance during a shopping excursion.

  • The service includes:

    • An initial telephone consultation to discuss your preferences and requirements.

      • An initial telephone consultation will be scheduled to discuss your specific requirements, preferences, and objectives for the personal shopping experience.

    • A video call for introductions and preparation before the shopping trip.

      • A video call will be arranged before the shopping experience to allow you to meet your personal shopper and further discuss your expectations.

      • The purpose of this video call is to understand your needs, style preferences, budget constraints, and any specific items or brands you are interested in.

    • Prior research to determine the best shopping locations based on your needs and budget.

      • We will conduct prior research to identify the best shopping locations and stores based on your needs and budget.

      • Our goal is to maximize your shopping experience by selecting the most suitable location for your objectives.

    • Up to 3 hours of in-person shopping together.

      • The personal shopping experience includes up to 3 hours of shopping together with your personal shopper.

      • Additional shopping time can be arranged for an extra fee, subject to availability.

    • Knowledge and tips to help you make informed and stylish purchases.

      • Your personal shopper will provide you with knowledge, advice, and tips to help you make informed purchasing decisions.

      • We will share tricks of the trade, styling recommendations, and insights into the latest fashion trends to make the most of your shopping spree.

 

2. Booking and Payment​​

  • Payment for the personal shopping experience must be made in advance, and the fee is non-refundable.

  • Booking dates and times are subject to availability and must be scheduled in advance.

  • Any additional expenses incurred during the shopping trip, such as purchases made at stores, transportation, or dining, are not included in the personal shopping fee and will be your responsibility.

3. Cancellation and Rescheduling​

  • If you need to cancel or reschedule your personal shopping experience, please do so at least 72 hours before the scheduled.

  • If you request to reschedule your appointment with less than a 72 hour notice, an additional fee will be charged.

  • We reserve the right to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, in which case we will make every effort to accommodate your schedule.

 

4. Duration of Service

  • The Personal Shopping Experience includes up to 3 hours of shopping together.

  • Additional shopping time can be arranged for an extra fee, subject to availability.

5. Personalized Selection

  • During the shopping experience, the personal shopper will select clothing and accessories that align with your unique style and preferences.

  • The selections are made exclusively for you, with the goal of enhancing your wardrobe.

  • The personal shopper will provide advice on how to dress in a way that flatters your individual style.

  • You will gain insights into choosing cuts, fabrics, colours, and styles that suit you.

  • The Personal Shopping Experience is exclusively designed for clients with clothing sizes up to 16 (UK sizing). Clients whose clothing sizes exceed 16 are encouraged to contact us for alternative personalized shopping services or recommendations that better cater to their needs and preferences.

 

6. Liability

  • While we strive to ensure a successful shopping experience, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes or the availability of particular items at stores.

  • We are not responsible for any damages, losses, or liabilities related to the purchased items or the shopping experience.

 

7. Privacy​

  • We take data security seriously and employ industry-standard measures to protect your personal information provided during consultations, video calls, and throughout the personal shopping experience.

  • All data, including personal details and shopping preferences, will be securely stored and used solely for the purpose of providing our services. We will not share your data with third parties without your explicit consent.

8. Data Security and Account Security:

  • We do not store any banking information. Payments are securely processed through the Stripe platform, which handles all payment transactions.

9. Payment and Currency:

  • Payments for the experience are accepted in pounds (GBP) only.

  • If a payment fails to be collected before the specified date due to circumstances beyond our control, we will proceed to the cancellation for the experience.*

10. Gift Experience

  • If you choose to gift any of the experiences offered, please be aware that the recipient must schedule and use the experience within 1 year from the date of the gift purchase.

  • It is the responsibility of the recipient to schedule and utilize the experience within the stipulated time frame.

  • The Wardrobe Edit Experience is designed to help you assess and improve your wardrobe, providing clarity on your style, body shape, and clothing choices. 

  • The Wardrobe Edit Experience includes up to 3 hours of personalised assistance.

  • Additional time can be arranged for an extra fee, subject to availability.

  • The service includes:

    • An initial phone consultation to discuss your wardrobe requirements.

      • An initial telephone consultation will be scheduled to discuss your specific requirements, preferences, and objectives for the wardrobe edit experience.

    • Body shape analysis to better understand what clothing styles complement your figure.

      • We will analyse your body shape to help you understand which clothing styles are most flattering for you.

    • Reviewing your current clothing items and assisting with decluttering.

      • During the experience, your wardrobe will be reviewed and decluttered to identify what works and what doesn't.

    • Providing a shopping list of missing items needed to enhance your wardrobe.

    • Sharing knowledge and tips to maximize your existing wardrobe's potential.

      • You will learn how to dress in a way that complements your body shape and aligns with your personal style.

      • Tips and tricks will be shared to help you make confident and considered clothing choices.

 

2. Booking and Payment

  • The cost of the Wardrobe Edit Experience is £185.

  • Payment must be made in advance to secure your booking.

  • Booking dates and times are subject to availability and must be scheduled in advance.

  • The Outfit Planner Addon is an enhancement to our personal shopping or wardrobe edit experience.

  • It includes the creation of a personalized mood board in PDF format featuring either 7 or 14 outfits, depending on your selection.

  • These outfits will be curated from the items you purchased during the personal shopping experience or with the clothes you already own in case of purchasing together with the wardrobe edit.

2. Pricing

  • The Outfit Planner Addon is available at two pricing tiers:

    • 7 Outfit Planner: £90

    • 14 Outfit Planner: £170

  • The chosen pricing tier will be added to the total cost of your personal shopping experience.

 

3. Mood Board Delivery

  • Your personalized mood board will be delivered to you by email in PDF format within a reasonable time frame after the completion of your personal shopping experience.

  • The mood board will serve as a visual reference for outfit inspiration, providing you with outfit ideas based on the items you acquired.

 

4. Non-Standalone Service

  • The Outfit Planner experience is exclusively available as an upgrade to the personal shopping or wardrobe edit experiences.

  • It cannot be booked or purchased as a standalone service.

  • The personal shopping or wardrobe edit experience must be completed in its entirety before the mood board can be created.

 

5. Modifications and Refunds

  • Once you have purchased the Outfit Planner Addon, modifications to the mood board content (e.g., changing outfits or items) may not be possible without an additional fee.

  • Please note that once you purchase the Outfit Planner Addon experience, the payment is non-refundable.

  • To create your personalized mood board, we will need access to information about the items you purchased during your personal shopping experience.

  • After the outfits have been presented to you during the Online Personal Shopping Experience video call, they cannot be changed or altered.

  • The stylist's selections are based on the information and preferences discussed during the video call, and the outfits are considered final once presented.

 

5. Shopping Links

  • The stylist will provide links to the specific clothing items, accessories, or shoes selected for you.

  • Clicking on these links will redirect you to the respective brand's website, where you can purchase the recommended products.

  • While we will make every effort to ensure that the selected outfits are in stock at the time of presenting the Online Personal Shopping Experience, we cannot be held responsible for any items that become unavailable or out of stock after the presentation.

  • Stock availability is subject to change, and it is the responsibility of the client to promptly make purchases if they wish to secure the recommended items.

  • We recommend that clients act promptly to purchase the recommended clothing items to avoid potential disappointment due to stock fluctuations or changes.

  • The garments and accessories featured in the PDF may contain affiliate links.

  • It is important to note that not all links are affiliate-based.

  • While we do include affiliate links for certain garments or accessories, our selection is not solely based on them.
